Easily comply with new CALGreen requirements with simple, automated software tool

Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations, CALGreen, is the USA's first mandatory green building standards code, in effect as of July 1, 2024. Calfornia non-residential buildings over 100,000 square-feet and schools over 50,000 square-feet will be required to comply with one of three pathways to reduce environmental impact:

• Performance: Complete a whole building life-cycle assessment (WBLCA) demonstrating 10% reduction in embodied carbon from a baseline model
• Prescriptive: Document environmental product declarations (EPDs) for specified materials

• Easy comparison of different design options in early stage (Carbon Designer 3D)
• Import BIM (Building information model) / BoM (Bill of materials) from your design or cost plan
• Specify the model and add specifications / inputs on additional life cycle stages (construction site operations, refrigerant use, maintenance)
• Create multiple design options of your proposed building model and try different material choices to see which model performs the best environmentally 
• Choose a pathway to aim at, reused materials, comparative LCA against a baseline design, prescriptive approach
• Download automated report for your project
• Download all EPDs used in your project for additional documentation
