This session dives into the role of EPDs in driving low-carbon choices across projects and accelerating industry-wide climate impact.

Sirpa Pietikäinen — Member of European Parliament
Sirpa has served as a Member of European Parliament for nearly 20 years — and has been instrumental in advancing built environment legislation, including CSRD and CPR.

Paul Astle — Building Decarbonization Lead
Paul is the Building Decarbonization Lead at Ramboll, where has has served for 13 years. His work aligns sustainable design across +4000 designers working to decarbonize the built environment.

Tuomas Jääskeläinen — EPD Business Development
Tuomas leads business development for One Click LCA in Finland, helping AEC and manufacturing companies cut carbon and meet sustainability targets. He works closely with key green organizations with navigating regulations and adopting low-carbon solutions that drive a greener industry.
Session 2: Supply-chain carbon transparency and reduction (BST time)

Simon Matthews — Advisor Advancing Net Zero
Simon is an Advisor in the Advancing Net Zero team at UKGBC, leading work on supply chain decarbonisation and non-domestic retrofit. Previously, he worked for as a sustainability lead at an AJ100 architects' practice, focusing on strategy development, sustainable design and operational decarbonisation.

Dijon Marples-Wall — Senior Carbon Consultant
Dijon is a Senior Carbon Consultant within the Climate Resilience and Adaptation team at Amey Consulting. He has 12 years’ experience in the environmental space, covering work for transport infrastructure bodies, Local Authorities, UK Govt/Arms-length Bodies, residential built environment sector, industrial and commercial sector.

Matteo Dall'Ombra — National Specification Manager
Matteo Dall’Ombra is the National Specification Manager at Daikin Air Conditioning UK, bringing over 13 years of experience in the HVAC industry. With a strong background in sustainable building solutions, engineering and project specification, he plays a key role in driving the adoption of low-carbon technologies across commercial developments in the UK

Martin McGrenaghan — EPD Business Development
Martin is a Business Development Manager at One Click LCA, overseeing EPDs for manufacturing in the UK and Ireland. With 16 years of industry experience and a degree in Construction Engineering, he has a diverse background spanning site engineering, business development, and sales. He focuses on helping businesses reduce their environmental impact through One Click LCA's consulting and software solutions.

Laura Drury — Sustainability Communications
Laura is part of the UK marketing team at One Click LCA, building awareness about embodied carbon reduction within the built environment. She works closely with customers and industry partners to drive the decarbonisation topic forward.

Rachelle is the Low Carbon Product Lead at the Carbon Leadership Forum, advancing building decarbonization across North America. With 8 years of structural engineering experience, she brings technical insight into material impacts and the role of low carbon products.

Jessie Templeton — Embodied Carbon Lead
Jessie is the Embodied Carbon Lead at Brightworks Sustainability, where she shapes and leads strategies to reduce carbon impacts across the built environment. With over 13 years of experience spanning architecture, sustainable design, and life-cycle assessment, she brings a design-informed perspective and seasoned leadership to material decarbonization efforts.

Varusha Venkatraj — Senior Materials Specialist
Varusha is the Senior Materials Specialist at Brightworks Sustainability, where she leads projects focused on low-carbon materials and life-cycle assessment. With over 10 years of experience across architecture, engineering, and environmental research, she brings deep technical knowledge and a data-driven approach to decarbonizing the built environment.

Kayleigh Abbott — Materials Specialist
Kayleigh is a Materials Specialist at Brightworks Sustainability, where she supports clients in advancing low-carbon, sustainable building practices. With over 5 years of experience spanning materials analysis, lighting design, and engineering, she brings a systems-thinking approach to material selection and transparency.

Nick Galardi — EPD Expert
Nick is an EPD Expert at One Click LCA, helping North American construction clients meet environmental goals and standards. With a background in materials engineering, he guides manufacturers in reducing embodied carbon through verified EPDs.

Aileen Carroll — Sustainability Communications
Aileen is part of the North American marketing team at One Click LCA, building awareness about embodied carbon reduction within the built environment. She works closely with customers and industry partners to to advance the adoption of EPDs and support decarbonization efforts.
