About the livestream event

📅 Date: Wednesday, September 4, 2024 🕓 Time: 11:00 AM BST | 🎯Duration: 60 mins

It’s been 7 months since Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) became a legal mandate in the UK. What progress has been made? Whilst the implementation date provided a significant milestone for the industry, it’s clear that there is a lack of clarity about what is required from developers, who is responsible for measuring and reporting BNG, and how local authorities will be tracking progress in planning applications.

Join this virtual event, hosted by One Click LCA, to hear from biodiversity product specialist James Thornton, and Angus Walker, planning and environmental solicitor at BDB Pitmans, as they discuss:

  • The challenges and questions that have arisen since February 12 BNG implementation
  • How the regulations have been responded to, and the current state of applications
  • Why the demand on ecologists outweighs supply, and how non-ecologists can take a more active role in BNG
  • Positive indicators for the future of BNG

Who should join this webinar?

  • Ecologists
  • Sustainability Consultants
  • Developers
  • Anyone with a role or interest in Biodiversity Net Gain
